La sedia Isadora evoca nel nome la
grazia di un’artista come la Duncan,
pioniera della danza contemporanea.
E dall’incontro fluido fra legno e cuoio
prende forma una seduta di nuova
concezione. Il rivestimento in cuoio la
avvolge completamente e sembra quasi
volare, reggersi solo su sé stesso. Abili
tagli e cuciture di provenienza sartoriale
lo fanno apparire come un abito leggero.
La sensazione è aerea e solida insieme
ed è frutto dell’alta artigianalità che,
per sottrazione, riduce i materiali
all’essenziale e li esalta nella loro pura
bellezza. Nel progetto Isadora riaffiora
la memoria di forme del passato in una
visione di grande modernità.
La struttura è in legno massello
di frassino tinto Moka o Wengé. Il
rivestimento è in Cuoio Saddle Extra
a taglio netto rifinito con tinta e cera
protettiva e sottolineato da cuciture a
contrasto o tono su tono.
The Isadora chair is inspired by the
grace of Isadora Duncan, a pioneer of
contemporary dance. Its original concept
is shaped by the seamless combination
of wood and saddle leather. The saddle
leather upholstery totally envelops it
and it almost appears to fly, completely
self-supported. Skilful tailored stitching
and cuts give it the appearance of a
light dress. It exudes both airiness and
solidity at the same time thanks to the
expert craftsmanship, which pares the
materials down to the bare essentials
and brings out their pure beauty. The
Isadora project revisits the forms of the
past as part of a highly modern vision.
The structure is made from solid ash in
a Moka or Wengé stain. The upholstery
is in Cuoio Saddle Extra leather, finished
with protective dye and wax and
accentuated by contrast or tone-on-
tone stitching.
Par son nom, la chaise Isadora
évoque la grâce d’une artiste telle
qu’Isadora Duncan, pionnière de la
danse contemporaine. D’une rencontre
fluide entre le bois et le cuir a pris
forme un nouveau concept d’assise.
Le revêtement de cuir l’enveloppe
intégralement et semble presque
s’envoler, se tenir sur lui-même.
D’habiles découpes et coutures faites
sur mesure lui donnent l’apparence
d’une robe légère. La sensation est à la
fois solide et aérienne, fruit d’un haut
niveau d’artisanat qui, par soustraction,
réduit les matériaux à l’essentiel et les
met en valeur dans leur beauté pure.
Dans le projet Isadora la mémoire des
formes du passé refait surface, dans
une vision hautement moderne. La
structure est en frêne massif teinté
Moka ou Wengé.
Le revêtement est en cuir Cuoio Saddle
Extra nettement coupé, fini avec une
teinte et une cire de protection et
souligné par des coutures contrastées
ou bien ton sur ton.
Der Stuhl Isadora erinnert in seinem
Namen an die Anmut einer Künstlerin
wie der Duncan, einer Pionierin des
zeitgenössischen Tanzes. Und aus der
fließenden Begegnung zwischen Holz
und Leder entsteht ein Sitzmöbel von
neuer Konzeption. Der Lederbezug
hüllt sie komplett ein und scheint fast
zu fliegen, sich nur auf sich selbst
zu stützen. Gekonnte Schnitte und
meisterhafte Nähte lassen ihn wie ein
leichtes Kleid aussehen. Das Gefühl
ist luftig und fest auf einmal und das
Ergebnis höchster Handwerkskunst,
die die Materialien durch reduzierte
Gestaltung auf das Wesentliche
beschränkt und sie in ihrer reinen
Schönheit zur Geltung bringt. Im Projekt
Isadora taucht die Erinnerung an Formen
der Vergangenheit in einer Vision von
großer Moderne wieder auf.
Die Struktur besteht aus mokka- oder
wengéfarben gebeizter Massivesche.
Der Bezug ist aus Cuoio Saddle®
Extra-Leder mit trennendem Schnitt, mit
Schutzfarbe und Schutzwachs behandelt
und durch kontrastierende Ton-in-Ton-
Nähte betont.
