La collezione prende il nome dal
carattere cinese “Ren”, che significa
persona. Fin dalle origini del linguaggio,
questo segno compare inciso sugli
antichi ossi oracolari cinesi usati a
scopo divinatorio: due semplici tratti in
una rappresentazione pittografica della
figura umana. Il tratto più lungo sporge
leggermente ed è sostenuto da quello
più breve. I due elementi dipendono
l’uno dall’altro per stabilità, in una
relazione che esprime esattamente
la costruzione architettonica di ogni
elemento della collezione.
Il divanetto. Una panca lineare e uno
schienale arrotondato, completo anche
in questo caso di cuscino poggiareni.
I punti di connessione fra la struttura
portante in legno massello di noce
canaletto e la scocca dello schienale in
faggio curvato sono rifiniti esternamente
da anelli in ottone. I rivestimenti
possono essere interamente in Pelle
Frau® oppure in pelle per la seduta e in
tessuto per il cuscino poggiareni.
Cette collection tire son nom du
caractère chinois “Ren” qui signifie
personne: deux traits simples, en
représentation pictographique de la
figure humaine. Le trait le plus long
dépasse légèrement et est soutenu
par le trait plus petit. Ces deux
éléments dépendent l’un de l’autre
pour leur stabilité, dans un rapport qui
exprime exactement la construction
architecturale de chaque élément de la
collection.
La même simplicité accueillante donne
forme au petit canapé. Un banc linéaire
et un dossier arrondi doté, lui aussi,
d’un coussin cale-reins. Les points de
connexion entre la structure portante
en noyer Canaletto massif et la coque
du dossier en hêtre cintré sont finis
extérieurement par des anneaux en
laiton. Les revêtements peuvent être
entièrement en cuir Pelle Frau® ou bien
ils peuvent allier, à un revêtement en
cuir pour l’assise, un revêtement en
tissu pour le coussin calereins.
The collection takes the name of the
Chinese “Ren” ideogram, which means
person.
From the birth of the language, this
symbol appeared on ancient Chinese
oracle bones used for divination. Two
simple strokes constitute a pictographic
representation of the human figure. The
longer stroke sticks out slightly and is
supported by the shorter stroke.
The two elements depend on each other
for their stability, a relationship that
perfectly represents the architectural
construction of each item in the
collection.
The same enveloping essentiality gives
form to the sofa. A linear bench and
rounded backrest, again complete with a
lumbar cushion. The junctions between
the supporting frame in solid Canaletto
walnut and the shell of the backrest
in curved beech are refined externally
with brass rings. The upholstery can
be entirely in Pelle Frau® leather or
in leather upholstery for the seat with
fabric lumbar cushion.
Die Kollektion hat ihren Namen vom
chinesischen Schriftzeichen “Ren”, das
Person bedeutet. Seit den Anfängen
der Sprache ist dieses Zeichen auf den
alten chinesischen Orakelknochen für
Wahrsagerei eingraviert: zwei einfache
Züge in einer piktographischen
Darstellung der menschlichen Figur. Die
längere Linie ragt geringfügig hervor
und wird von der kürzeren gestützt.
Die beiden Elemente sind aus Gründen
der Stabilität voneinander abhängig,
in einem Verhältnis, das genau den
architektonischen Aufbau der einzelnen
Elemente der Kollektion ausdrückt.
Die gleiche, einladende Einfachheit
prägt das Sofa. Eine lineare Bank
und eine abgerundete Rückenlehne,
auch in diesem Fall mit Nierenkissen.
Die Verbindungspunkte zwischen der
Tragestruktur aus massivem Canaletto
Nuss und der Aufbau der Rückenlehne
aus gebogenem Buchenholz sind außen
mit Messingringen veredelt.
Die Bezüge können vollständig aus
Pelle Frau®-Leder sein oder einen
Lederbezug für den Sitz und Stoff für
die Nierenkissen kombinieren.
