Dopo Let it Be e Come Together,
disegnati per Poltrona Frau
rispettivamente nel 2017 e 2018,
Ludovica e Roberto Palomba progettano
un terzo sistema di sedute che è un
nuovo omaggio ai Beatles. Il nome Get
Back nasce dal ritornello, “Get back,
get back, get back to where you once
belonged”. Un testo giocosamente
programmatico per un progetto che
vuole rappresentare un ritorno alla
comodità, a uno spazio accogliente
creato su misura, dove potersi sentire
davvero a casa.
La struttura degli schienali è realizzata
con massello di faggio e pioppo,
multistrato di betulla e tamponamenti
con pannelli in faesite. Il telaio della
struttura base è invece realizzato
in alluminio da trafila e massello di
toulipier per le parti rivestite. Elementi
in poliuretano espanso ottenuti da
stampo sono inseriti sulle parti terminali
degli schienali e negli angoli del telaio.
L’imbottitura di base e schienale è
in poliuretano espanso, mentre nei
braccioli è in poliuretano e ovatta
poliestere. Get back può essere
rivestito completamente in Pelle Frau® o
nell’abbinamento della Pelle Frau® con i
cuscini sedile e schienale in tessuto.

After Let it Be and Come Together,
designed for Poltrona Frau in 2017 and
2018 respectively, Ludovica and Roberto
Palomba have designed a third seating
system that pays homage to the Beatles.
Get Back is inspired by the refrain, “Get
back, get back, get back to where you
once belonged”. A playfully schematic
text for a project that represents a
return to comfort, to a welcoming tailor-
made space where you can really feel
at home.
The backrest structure is made of solid
beech and poplar, birch plywood and
infill produced from hardboard panels.
The frame of the basic structure is made
of die-cast aluminium and solid tulip
wood for the covered parts. Elements in
moulded polyurethane foam are inserted
in the ends of the backrests and the
corners of the frame. The base and
backrest are padded with polyurethane
foam while the armrests are padded with
polyurethane and polyester padding. Get
Back can be upholstered completely in
Pelle Frau® leather or in a combination
of Pelle Frau® leather with fabric seat
and backrest cushions.

système de sièges, qui est un nouvel
hommage aux Beatles. Le nom Get Back

Un texte ludiquement programmatique
pour un projet qui veut représenter
un retour à la commodité, à un espace
accueillant créé sur mesure, où l’on peut
se sentir vraiment chez soi.
La structure des dossiers est en hêtre
et peuplier massif, bouleau multiplis
et panneaux en faésite. En revanche le
cadre de la structure de base est fait
d’aluminium étiré et de tulipier massif
pour les parties revêtues. Des éléments
en mousse de polyuréthane moulée sont
insérés à l’extrémité des dossiers et
aux coins du cadre. Le rembourrage de
la base et du dossier est en mousse
de polyuréthane, tandis que celui des
accoudoirs est en polyuréthane et
ouate de polyester. Get back peut être
entièrement revêtu de cuir Pelle Frau®
ou dans la combinaison du cuir Pelle
Frau® avec les coussins d’assise et de
dossier en tissu.

drittes Sitzmöbelsystem, das eine
neuerliche Hommage an die Beatles
darstellt. Der Name Get Back entsteht
aus dem Refrain “Get back, get back,
get back to where you once belonged”.
Ein Text, der auf spielerische Weise
programmatisch für ein Projekt ist, das
eine Rückkehr zur Gemütlichkeit, zu
einem maßgeschneiderten, einladenden
Raum darstellen will, in dem man sich
wirklich zuhause fühlen kann.
Die Struktur der Rückenlehnen ist
aus Massivbuche, Massivpappel,
Multischicht-Birkenholz und einem
Unterbau aus Spanplatten gemacht. Der
Rahmen der Basisstruktur ist hingegen
aus gezogenem Aluminium und Massiv-
Tulipierholz für die bezogenen Teile.
Elemente aus gegossenem
Polyurethanschaum sind auf den Enden
der Rückenlehnen und in den Ecken des
Rahmens eingefügt.
Die Polsterung von Basis und
Rückenlehne ist aus Polyurethanschaum,
die der Armlehnen hingegen aus
Polyurethan und Polyesterwatte.
Get Back kann vollständig mit Pelle
Frau®-Leder bezogen sein oder in der
Kombination Pelle Frau®-Leder mit
Sitzkissen und Rückenlehnenkissen aus
Stoff gewählt werden.
