Poltrona Frau, il sistema di sedute In the
Mood, è pensato sin dal principio per
vestire il tessuto oltre alla pelle e per
lasciarlo esprimere su ampie superfi ci
morbide ed accoglienti. Un segno
fortemente orizzontale caratterizza
un divano di sofi sticata semplicità, in
grado di vestire con eleganza sartoriale
entrambe le fi niture. Le ampie superfi ci
imbottite del divano In the Mood e il
suo design minimale, quasi elementare,
si prestano particolarmente a far
risaltare la bellezza del rivestimento,
in pregiata Pelle Frau® o nelle tante
trame dei tessuti con gli splendidi
colori del ColorSphere®. Lo slancio
caratteristico dei piedi proiettati verso
il centro della seduta crea una tensione
dinamica che dona slancio e leggerezza.
Dettagli di cucitura sartoriali, tipici
della tappezzeria storica di Poltrona
Frau, sono qui reinterpretati in chiave
contemporanea, come il fi letto in pelle
o tessuto che delinea i contorni del
divano. Il sistema di sedute In the Mood
è disponibile in numerose combinazioni
a due o a tre posti. Queste possono
essere arricchite da un elemento curvo
a 45° che spezza la classica rigidità
delle confi gurazioni angolari e da tre
diversi tipi di bracciolo.

for Poltrona Frau, the In the Mood
seating system was conceived to allow
fabric and leather express themselves
as expanses of soft and welcoming
surfaces. A strongly horizontal design
for a sofa of sophisticated simplicity
that wears both fi nishes
with consummate sartorial elegance.
The large padded surfaces and
minimalist, almost elementary, design
of the In the Mood sofa are particularly
successful at bringing out the beauty
of the upholstery, in fi ne Pelle Frau®
leather or in numerous patterns
of fabrics and splendid shades
of ColorSphere®.
The characteristic sleekness of the feet
projected towards the centre of the seat
creates a dynamic tension that exudes
energy and lightness. Sartorial stitching
details, typical of Poltrona Frau’s history
in upholstery, are given a contemporary
twist, like the leather or fabric piping
that defi nes the edges of the sofa.
The In the Mood seating system is
available in numerous two or three-
seater combinations. These can be
enhanced with a curved 45° element
that breaks up the classic rigidity of the
angular confi gurations, and with three
diff erent types of armrest.

In the Mood a été pensé dès le départ
pour habiller le tissu comme le cuir et lui
permettre de s’exprimer sur de grandes
surfaces douces et accueillantes.
Un signe fortement horizontal
caractérise un canapé d’une simplicité
sophistiquée, capable d’habiller les
deux fi nitions avec une élégance
haute-couture. Les grandes surfaces
rembourrées du canapé In the
Mood et son design minimaliste,
presqu’élémentaire, se prêtent
particulièrement bien à la mise en valeur
de la beauté du revêtement, en cuir fi n
Pelle Frau® ou dans les nombreux motifs
des tissus aux couleurs splendides
du ColorSphere®. L’élan caractéristique
des pieds projetés vers le centre de
l’assise crée une tension dynamique
qui donne mouvement et légèreté.
Les détails de couture, typiques de la
tapisserie historique de Poltrona Frau,
sont ici réinterprétés dans une tonalité
contemporaine, comme le passepoil
en cuir ou en tissu qui souligne
les contours du canapé. Le système
de sièges In the Mood est disponible
dans de nombreuses combinaisons à
deux ou trois places. Celles-ci peuvent
être agrémentées d’un élément incurvé
à 45° qui rompt la rigidité classique des
confi gurations d’angle et de trois types
d’accoudoirs diff érents.

In the Mood wurde von Anfang an so
konzipiert, dass es sowohl mit Stoff als
auch mit Leder ausgeführt wird und sich
auf großen, weichen und einladenden
Flächen entfalten kann. Eine starke
horizontale Linie charakterisiert ein
Sofa von edler Schlichtheit, das beide
Oberfl ächen mit maßgeschneideter
Eleganz kleiden kann. Die großen
Polsterfl ächen des Sofas In the Mood
und sein minimales, fast elementares
Design eignen sich besonders gut,
um die Schönheit der Polsterung
hervorzuheben, in feinem Pelle Frau®-
Leder oder in den vielen Stoff mustern
mit den prächtigen Farben von
ColorSphere®. Der charakteristische
Schwung der Füße, der zur Sitzmitte hin
projiziert wird, erzeugt eine dynamische
Spannung, die Bewegung und
Leichtigkeit verleiht. Maßgeschneiderte
Steppnähte, typisch für die historischen
Polstermöbel von Poltrona Frau, werden
hier in einer zeitgenössischen Tonart
neu interpretiert, wie z.B. die Leder-
oder Stoffl eiste, die die Konturen des
Sofas umreißt. Das Sitzsystem In the
Mood ist in zahlreichen Zwei- und
Dreisitzerkombinationen erhältlich.
Diese können durch ein 45° gebogenes
Element, das die klassische Steifi gkeit
von Eckkonfi gurationen aufbricht,
und durch drei verschiedene Arten
von Armlehnen bereichert werden.
