Jobs Bookcase

La libreria Jobs Bookcase nasce da
un attento studio di Rodolfo Dordoni
sull’evoluzione dei comportamenti in
relazione alle nuove tecnologie e da
un’accurata selezione dei materiali: pelle,
legni lucidi e opachi e strutture in acciaio
satinato arricchiscono in tono sobrio ed
essenziale i diff erenti volumi. Le librerie
Jobs Bookcase sono contenitore e
libreria insieme, alternano vani a giorno,
mensole e vani con ante. Da parete o
centro stanza, sono utilizzabili anche per
defi nire, dividere e organizzare gli spazi.
Le due tipologie si diff erenziano per la
disposizione degli elementi e dei divisori
verticali che, nella variante da parete,
sono tutti più arretrati e permettono di
ottimizzare gli spazi.
Le librerie Jobs Bookcase hanno mensole
in rovere Piombo o Tabacco opaco
con spessore importante. Gli elementi
divisori a “T”, composti da un pannello
verticale in legno laccato lucido e
pannello di fondo in Pelle Frau®, sono
disposti sulle mensole con schema
irregolare. I montanti verticali con la
caratteristica sezione a “T”, elementi
identifi cativi della collezione, sono in
acciaio satinato verniciato piombo, fi ssati
alle estremità della libreria. Il tutto in
un’alternanza equilibrata di pieni e vuoti.
The Jobs Bookcase collection is the
result of Rodolfo Dordoni’s close
study of the evolution of behaviour in
relation to new technologies and the
careful selection of materials: leather,
shiny and matt woods and structures
in brushed steel enrich the diff erent
volumes in a simple, understated
way to create new work areas. The
Jobs Bookcase are both storage
units and bookcases, and alternate
open compartments with shelves and
compartments with doors. Perfect
against the wall or in the centre of
the room, they can also be used to
defi ne, divide and organise spaces.
The two versions diff er in terms of
the arrangement of the elements and
vertical dividers which, in the wall
variant, are all further back, making it
possible to optimise the spaces.
Lead-coloured steel for the vertical
uprights, with the characteristic
T-section common to all Jobs elements.
Pelle Frau® leather for the upholstery
of the MDF doors. The same material
for all of the other elements, shelves,
compartments and rear panel: the
oak veneer with lead or tobacco stain
elegantly alternates glossy and matt
surfaces.
La collection Jobs Bookcase est le
résultat d’une étude attentive de
Rodolfo Dordoni sur l’évolution des
comportements par rapport aux
nouvelles technologies et d’une sélection
minutieuse des matériaux : cuir, bois
brillants et mats et structures en acier
satiné enrichissent les diff érents volumes
d’un ton sobre et essentiel et déterminent
de nouveaux espaces de travail. Jobs
Bookcase est à la fois rangement et
bibliothèque, en alternant compartiments
ouverts, étagères et compartiments avec
portes. On peut les utiliser soit contre
le mur soit au centre de la pièce, ainsi
que pour défi nir, diviser et organiser les
espaces. Les deux types se distinguent
par la disposition des éléments et des
cloisons verticales qui, dans la version
murale, sont plus en arrière et permettent
d’optimiser les espaces.
Acier teinté au plomb pour les montants
verticaux, avec la section en T
caractéristique qui revient dans tous les
éléments de Jobs. Cuir Pelle Frau® pour
le revêtement des portes en MDF.
Même matériau pour tous les autres
éléments, étagères, compartiments et
panneau arrière : le placage en rouvre
teinté plomb ou teinté tabac alterne
élégamment des surfaces brillantes
et mates.

aus der intensiven Analyse von Rodolfo
Dordoni zur Evolution des Verhaltens
im Zusammenhang mit den neuen
Technologien und aus einer sorgfältigen
Materialauswahl: Leder, glänzendes
und mattes Holz sowie Strukturen
aus satiniertem Stahl bereichern auf
schlichte und essentielle Weise die
unterschiedlichen Volumen, indem
sie neue Arbeitsbereiche festlegen.
Jobs Bookcase ist Behältermöbel und
Bücherregal in einem, sie wechseln
off ene Fächer, Regalböden und Fächer
mit Türen ab. Zur Wandmontage oder
zum Aufstellen in der Zimmermitte. Sie
können auch zur Defi nition, Trennung
und Organisation von Räumen verwendet
werden. Die zwei Ausführungen
unterscheiden sich durch die Anordnung
der Elemente und der vertikalen
Trennwände, die bei der Wandvariante
allesamt nach hinten versetzt sind, und
die Optimierung der Räume gestatten.
