This impressive building has a surface area of
80,000 m2 and 320 km of shelving to house
all the historical documents from the French
revolution onwards. The conference hall is in
one of the six satellite units comprising the
building along with the central body.
Poltrona Frau Custom Interiors division team
took more than six months to develop the
prototype ‘Carla’ seat which was designed and
manufactured for the 300-seater conference
hall in the splendid new French national
archives.
