There are times when customization is hidden
behind the history and prestige of an historical
building, like the Budapest Opera House.
The Neo-Renaissance palace designed by
Miklós Ybl had been open to opera and ballet
lovers for more than one hundred thirty years
when it underwent an extensive renovation
project that lasted for nearly five years.
The challenging task for Poltrona Frau
Custom Interiors was to recreate the original
atmosphere but remaining compliant to the new
safety, acoustic and comfort requirements.
