Two simple strokes that depend on each
other for stability. The Ren collection is
based on the Chinese pictogram bearing the
same name, consisting of only two signs that
are repeated in the supporting structure of
each object. That sign has become a recog-
nisable language that is expressed in a series
of pieces: mirrors, clothes racks, valet stands
and magazine racks. There are also proper
furnishings such as the side table, two wall
supported bookcases and a dressing table to
create a coherent look with a defined per-
sonality across different rooms of the house,
starting from the doorway. With elegant
details upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather
and its brass frames, Ren is Poltrona Frau’s
first integrated series of objects and furnish-
ing accessories designed as a lifestyle
product. It is a constellation of “secondary
actors” for a traditionally furnished environ-
ment that facilitate a series of actions that
are part of everyday life. They are visually
light objects, designed to be easily picked up
and moved, adapting to the transformation
of the house and its daily functions.
