True Heritage
100+10 Years of True Evolution
It all starts from a quarry in Turkey,
where the precious Rosso Lepanto marble is
extracted, characterised by tones ranging
from red to violet, and embellished with
white veins. Due to an unexplainable natural
event, a small section of the mountain has
turned a deep sage colour, with shades of
darker green crossed by the typical clear
veining and reddish inclusions. A limited
series of tables has been created from this
unrepeatable natural texture, objets d’art
that have no equal in the manufacturing
itself, and which cannot be replicated, given
the exceptional nature of the material.
The Infinito� table, designed by Roberto
Lazzeroni, is movement crystallised in a
sculpture, it’s a conceptual geometry. The
large staggered double oval top recalls the
complementary shapes of yin and yang, and,
in part, an overturned 8, the symbol of
endless fulfilment and prosperity in Chinese
culture. The base, made up of a single block
of white Carrara marble, rises from a twisted
tripod that recalls the image of a tree trunk.
Infinito� evokes lightness and dynamism,
but also memory and ancestral traditions.
Produced in just 8 pieces with a double
oval top (340 cm long) and 64 with single
base and a 220 cm oval top. The table is a
work of art to be admired, experienced and
appreciated
every
day,
endlessly. This
project embodies the sense of the material’s
uniqueness and Poltrona Frau’s idea of
luxury, made with uncompromising quality
and exclusivity, objects to be admired but
also experienced in everyday life.
