Melting Prague
Prague inspires. Bohemian art offers much to
admire and the city itself offers a variety of stunning
architecture. It is a city that captures you in its
atmosphere and it was exactly this “Prague state
of mind” that originated this new series. The strong
brass stunningly curls around the crystal like a
flexible elastic, protecting it in a beautiful way. The
shaping was done by hand in wax and is ornately
organic as well as a nod to the past. A past of
tradition and craftsmanship one doesn’t see often
anymore, yet is fully displayed in these designs. The
choice of colours and the contradiction of the brass
and the crystal complement each other perfectly.
