BAROCTOPUS
The world underneath the surface is an amazing and
intriguing one, housing some of the most beautiful
and curious creatures. Taken from the sea world, this
piece of both art and furniture combines a highly
decorative aesthetic with functional purpose. The
curly tentacles of the octopus even remind us of
the curved shapes of baroque. The suckers on the
underside of the tentacles show the artist’s keen
eye for detail that is carried out through the full
bottom of the sculpture.
