paradigm to our being enterprise. Ever since we recognised ourselves in the
words of Claude Bernard: “It is what we think we know that keeps us away
from learning”.
ATTENTION TO TRAINING
THE ENVIRONMENT SUSTAINABILITY
Respect and focus on the environment accompany product design and
development operations. The optimization of production cycles, supplying of
raw materials, selection of recyclable materials for production, logistics and
marketing are all professionally managed. From the early stages of planning
attention is given to the recycling or reuse of the materials up to 98%.
From 2004 PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING is a founding member of the
Consortium ECOLIGHT – n. 0029 (for the recycling of lighting devices, RAEE)
The conscious and optimized management of energy is tangible in the
low environmental impact installations of its production plants. Since 2013
PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING has independently produced more than 50%
of its own energy requirements through its photovoltaic installations, and is
currently converting its fleet of cars into electrical or hybrid models.
PERSONNEL, ETHICS
People make the unit. PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING draws its strength from
the quality and the passion that each collaborator puts into its actions.
Confrontation, exchange, listening and empathy are the foundations of the
Group’s management policies. The Group facilitates the commitment to
adjust work and family and exerts every effort to create a sound and efficient
working environment.
Our Group not only wishes to “bring the light “to the customers but
endeavors with different actions in social matters. Since several years,
PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING has supported CINI Italia, a not-for-profit
association that was established to ensure children in the most needy areas
of the world the right to receive care and education in early childhood,
for instance, by helping families to learn the basics of hygiene, health and
didactics to promote and strengthen the education and care of children in
their own families.
A social commitment witnessed in Italy also in the creation of Asilo Nido Blu (a
kindergarten) that was established in 2002 at the PERFORMANCE iN LIGHTING
head office in Colognola ai Colli. It was launched for children aged from 7
to 36 months, to offer them a dedicated socio-pedagogical program, with
annexed didactic farm.
