The relevant European standard EN 60598-2-13 defines the suitable areas for installation
of ground recessed luminaires based on static load, ledge from the ground of the
diffuser and the temperature of the diffuser itself. These characteristics establish
whether the luminaire is suitable for specific situations (vehicle transit, pedestrian
crossing, playgrounds, etc.). To make luminaires selection easier for each product, the
pages below show the code of the areas where the installation is permitted, based on
the standard and the technical characteristics.
