Questi tappeti, dall’aspetto accogliente e dal profilo
essenziale, sono il risultato di una ricerca sulle tecniche
di lavorazione della maglieria. Alla base del progetto
c’è il ricordo di atmosfere familiari, quando pullover e
coperte venivano lavorati a mano con la tecnica del tricot.
L’effetto “maglia rasata” che caratterizza la superficie
dei tappeti si moltiplica grazie alla ripetizione di elementi
tubolari cuciti tra loro. I colori possono essere tinta unita
o mélange, secondo le combinazioni cromatiche scelte.
These rugs, with their inviting appearance and essential
design, are the result of research into knitwear production
techniques. The project is inspired by memories of familiar
atmospheres when pullovers and blankets were knitted by
hand. The “plain knit” effect that distinguishes this rugs'
surface is multiplied by the repetition of tubular elements
sewn together. Depending on the chromatic combinations
chosen, these rugs can be in plain or mélange colour.
