Non è un caso che il tweed sia un tessuto celebre in tutto
il mondo. Con la sua consistenza solida, l’ampia gamma
di colori e i caratteristici “bottoni” in tonalità contrastante,
comunica un’eleganza misurata, in sintonia con lo stile
Paola Lenti, che per l’indoor ha disegnato un tappeto
ispirandosi proprio a questo prodotto della tradizione
scozzese. I colori di base della materia prima utilizzata
sono circa 40, l’effetto “tweed” è ottenuto dal loro intreccio:
mescolati durante il processo di trecciatura e tessitura,
producono cromie che danno alla superficie del tappeto
un aspetto simile a quello all’intramontabile tessuto.

With its solid texture, wide range of colours and characteristic
"buttons" in contrasting shades, it conveys a measured
elegance, in keeping with the style of Paola Lenti,
who designed an indoor rug inspired by this traditional
Scottish product. The basic colours of the raw materials
are approximately 40 and the “tweed” effect is achieved
through their intertwining: when mixed together during
the braiding and weaving phases, they produce chromatic
effects that give the rug a texture reminiscent of this
timeless fabric.
