twiggy è un filato rivestito
monomaterico in polipropilene che,
da una parte è più ricco di qualità
cromatiche, in grado di giocare con
luci, opacità e trasparenze, e dall’altra
ha specifiche tecniche migliori: una
maggiore resistenza alla trazione e
all’abrasione, e una maggiore solidità
dei colori alla luce. Inoltre, Twiggy
non richiede additivi chimici e, perciò,
è completamente e facilmente
riciclabile senza perdita di qualità.
Con questo nuovo filato produciamo
tappeti e rivestimenti, caratterizzati
anche da maggiore facilità
di manutenzione1.
1 Il polimero con cui realizziamo il nostro filato Twiggy è certificato
Oeco-Tex® Standard 100 Classe 1. Questo significa che ha caratteri-
stiche tali da renderlo adatto all’uso anche a contatto con la pelle di
neonati. Non è tossico, non è poroso, è impermeabile, è inattaccabi-
le dai batteri ed è naturalmente antimuffa. La conseguente facilità
di manutenzione permette di pulirlo e sanificarlo con la frequenza
necessaria a garantirne l’igienicità, senza alterarne nel tempo le ca-
ratteristiche.
1 The polymer we use to produce our yarn, Twiggy, is certified Stand-
ard 100 by Oeko-Tex® class 1. This means that it possesses char-
acteristics that make it suitable for use in contact with the skin of
newborn babies. It is nontoxic, nonporous, waterproof, impervious to
bacteria, and naturally anti-mold. Its resulting ease of maintenance
makes it possible to clean and sterilize it with the frequency required
to ensure satisfactory hygienic levels, without altering its fundamen-

Not only is it richer in chromatic
qualities, making it possible to
calibrate its interplay with light, along
a gradient from opaque to transparent;
it also offers improved technical
characteristics. It therefore withstands
stretching and abrasion, and preserves
its colorfastness under exposure to
sunlight. What’s more, Twiggy requires
no chemical additives, making it easily
and completely recyclable without
any loss in quality. With this new yarn,
we make carpets and upholstery,
with the added feature of greater
ease of care and maintenance1.
