Ci dicono che il valore degli oggetti
con cui le persone convivono non può
prescindere dal modo in cui li
pensiamo e li fabbrichiamo, cioè
dal valore che apportano o sottraggono
alle comunità. È a questo valore che
guardiamo da più di trent’anni ed è
questo valore che guida le nostre scelte.
Per questo abbiamo avviato una
rivoluzione. Una rivoluzione invisibile.
Invisibile perché riguarda il valore
che abita nelle cose.
They tell us that the worth of the
objects people live with is inextricably
bound up with the way we conceive
of those objects, plan them, and
manufacture them, and that, in the
final analysis, determines the value
they bring to the larger community –
or take from it.
This is the value that we have always
looked to, and it is this value that
guides our hand and our decision-
making. That is why we have launched
a revolution. An invisible revolution.
Invisible because it involves the value
that inhabits objects.
