Da questo periodo di sperimentazione
è nato rope, filato in polipropilene
intorno a cui abbiamo costruito nel
tempo le nostre collezioni, adeguando
il design alle sue caratteristiche e
ai suoi limiti. Sono arrivati, così,
i primi arredi per esterni: innovativi,
pratici, di facile manutenzione.
E, allo stesso tempo, le trame,
i tessuti, gli intrecci, le nuances e le
composizioni cromatiche, le forme
organiche degli oggetti che sono
diventati il tratto più marcato
dello stile Paola Lenti e ne hanno
decretato il successo.
That decade of experimentation
resulted in rope, the polypropylene
yarn which served as the core around
which, in the years that followed,
we built our collections, adapting our
design to our yarn’s technical
specifications and limitations. With
Rope, we produced our first outdoor
furnishings. They were innovative,
practical, and easy to maintain. At the
same time, they featured the weaves,
fabrics, interlacings, nuances, and
chromatic compositions and organic
forms of the objects that became
the most distinctive trait of the Paola
Lenti style – the key to its success
and popularity.
