e consapevoli. Una rivoluzione in cui
le piante, anche grazie a studi che ne
rivelano la profonda intelligenza, tornano
alla ribalta per preservare la salute
dell’uomo e dell’ambiente.
Il disegno dei nuovi arredi Eres nasce
dall’interazione con queste materie
naturali e con le forme che hanno assunto
negli usi tradizionali, non per riprodurle,
ma per valorizzarne i caratteri che ne
hanno determinato e consolidato la
diffusione, attraverso una revisione in
chiave contemporanea.
Da questo processo nascono oggetti
amichevoli, semplici, puliti.
Oggetti che porteranno con orgoglio le
tracce dell’uso, acquistando nel tempo
una patina unica e diventando intimi con
gli abitanti della casa grazie alle cure che
questi dedicheranno loro.2
La cura delle cose è il primo passo per
far sì che quel che produciamo e usiamo
torni a essere un bene con un contenuto di
umanità da preservare e tramandare.

The design of the new Eres furnishings
grows out of an interaction with these
natural materials and with the forms that
they have assumed in traditional use, not
in order to reproduce them, but rather to
highlight and enhance the characteristics
that ensured and reinforced their diffusion,
through a revision in a more contemporary
mode.
This process leads to the creation of
friendly, simple, clean objects. Objects
that will proudly bear the marks of use,
acquiring over time a unique patina
and becoming intimate partners of the
inhabitants of the house, due in part to the
care those inhabitants will lavish
upon them.2
Caring for things is the first step to
ensuring that what we produce and
use becomes, once again, a good with
a content of humanity we can hope to
preserve and hand down.

2 Eres is a collection of outdoor furniture and accessories. The deci-
sion not to give the natural fibers any chemical treatments requires
some extra care when compared with other objects in the Paola Lenti
collections. That is why the articles in the Eres collection must be
protected from direct exposure to the elements and should therefore
be used in areas that can be open to outside air but must be covered.
