The utmost care is devoted to the padding of our sofas since it
is responsible for the correct posture of your body. The mate-
rials utilised are selected for their density and resilience to keep
their shape over time. Depending on the model different types
of padding is used:
Polyurethane presents characteristics of resilience and quality
(they don’t contain CFC – chlorofluorocarbons and have there-
fore a low environmental impact) Scrupulous laboratory tests
demonstrate the truly extraordinary versatility and resistance of
these materials.
Down feathers, treated to guarantee maximum comfort and com-
plete hygienic safety. In fact they are anallergic, hygroscopic and
insulating. Down feathers are of organic origin and this allows
them to maintain their characteristics of softness and reliability
over time, they are also a fire retardant material combining a high
burning point with a low flash index and a low smoke emission.
Polyester Fibres. These are thin pieces of polyester fibre that,
treated in a particular way, confer to guarantee a high degree of
softness. These fibres, chosen to pad seats, back and armrests
are used to give even more comfort especially to those parts of
the body that are in direct contact with the sofa. Sometimes
these fibres are combined with polyurethane foam.
