MATERIALS
Shell consists of an innovative composite of plastic and up to
25% pine wood fibers. The pine wood fibers and plastic blend is
injected into the mold, forming the chair’s shell. The Fiber Chair
family is made partly from a natural material, therefore slight
color variations can occur. For upholstered versions, the shell’s
inside is upholstered with foam and fabric. The 4 or 5 leg swivel
piece and cylinder are die casted aluminum. Pressurized gas
lift cylinder.

EN 16139:2013 - L2: Extreme use. Furniture - Strength, durability
and safety - Requirements for non-domestic seating.
EN 1022:2005 - Domestic furniture - Seating - Determination
of stability.
ANSI/BIFMA X5.1-2017*. American National Standard For
Office Furnishings-General Purpose Office Chairs. *Tested on
swivel versions without return.

upholstery are Living Building Challenge Compliant as part of
Muuto’s participation in Declare.
Fiber Side Chair Swivel Base & Swivel Base w. Return without
upholstery and a large selection of versions upholstered with
Kvadrat textiles* are tested to VOC CDPH 01350 and VOC
Bifma X7.1.
