appearance, the Compile Shelving System
can be integrated into a multitude of interior
spaces - whether there is a need for an
individual module, or an entire wall of shelves.

MATERIALS
Shelves and dividers: Powder coated steel.
Top and bottom details: Injection-molded plastic.
PROCESS
Shelves are made from laser cut steel sheets, bent to form,
and then coated with high quality powder coating. This coating
gives the shelves a matt, abrasion-resistant and fingerprint-
insensitive surface.
COLORS
Grey (RAL 7044)
Available from April 2017: Black (Graphite black RAL 9011),
White (RAL 9003).
OPTIONS & ACCESSORIES
Shelves, dividers and the essentials package can be purchased
separately or pre-packed if ordering one of the 8 different
pre-configured configurations. See options on next page.
TESTS
Danish Technological Institute:
EN 16121:2013 Non-domestic storage furniture – Require-
ments for safety, strength, durability and stability – Test se-
verity 1. EN 16122:2012 Domestic and non-domestic storage
furniture – Test method for the determination of strength, dura-
bility and stability. Both tests were conducted using a 180 cm
shelving configuration with wall brackets attached to the wall.
WEIGHT & HEIGHT RECOMMENDATIONS
The Compile Shelving System should always be mounted to
a wall using wall brackets (included in the essentials pack). A
Compile Shelving System can hold up to 300 kg. The Compile
Shelving Systems can be built as tall as wanted, as long as
they are mounted to the wall using wall brackets. Muuto re-
commends not building configurations higher than 2,25 meters.
