HURRICANE LANTERNS
Restore and Refurbish
This project involved the meticulous restoration of vintage
hurricane lanterns, transforming them from their rusted
and worn state to beautifully restored pieces. The original
lanterns were carefully disassembled, cleaned, and any
rust was removed. The metal frames were then repainted,
and the glass components were cleaned as new. Rewiring
was also carried out to ensure the lanterns are safe for
use. During the restoration process, each component was
carefully handled to preserve the lanterns’ original charm
while enhancing their durability and functionality.
The restored hurricane lanterns retain their historical
integrity while being revitalized to serve as both functional
and decorative lighting pieces. These lanterns now feature
a fresh, clean look with vibrant colors, making them
suitable for both modern and traditional settings. This
restoration project showcases our dedication to preserving
the historical value of vintage items.
