Soft branding design
Design as an experimental exercise, a pioneering study of form, or of an image, can lead to conceptual abstraction, the identification of a process, to form a material object, a physical, concrete expression. Gluon, a decidedly apt name borrowed from the elementary particle whose name comes from glue, places itself in a new space, a place of blurred boundaries. Stylishly futuristic, sculptural, it is not just a simple armchair. One, two or three-seater, the effect of double vision is digital, the skill and attention to detail is artisanal while the production is rigorously industrial.
Seat and back in injected flame-retardant foam, over internal steel frame. Side panels in grey varnished structural polyurethane. Base in grey varnished steel and glides in nylon. The Gluon collection covers are not removable.
