The strength of the trio is in their cohesion:
they grew up together, sharing the experien-
ces and spaces of everyday life; their artistic
creation was naturally directed toward the
expression of six hands. They are a rare case
in which art is integrated with life, and vice
versa.
Among the components, you find a sort of
creative symbiosis that happens intuitively,
without a predetermined plot, and that leads
them to take turns on the works, each one
bringing his own dose of imagination and im-
provisation, always converging on a surprising
stylistic unity in a succession of layers, re-
considering and remaking.
The work of Canemorto is attractive in its un-
controllable expressive energy, a rush of wild
immediacy that overwhelms with its exube-
rance; it refuses stereotypes and complacency
and instead directs energy towards provoca-
tion, dissonance, and expressive violence.
On one side, there is a dra-
matic and disharmonious
style that uses nervous stro-
kes and convulsive rhythms;
on the other there are the
subjects: dreamlike and sur-
real scenes where anthropo-
morphic figures wear large
tribal masks with strongly
marked characters, writhing
their bodies with wide hallu-
cinogenic eyes, shouting wil-
dly or subsiding in a meta-
physical silence.
It is an incorrect and rude
art, which explores the anti-aesthetic through
the violence of color, the crudeness of form,
and the incisiveness of symbols. The works,
often gestural and energetic, refer to twen-
tieth-century models, particularly German
Expressionism, and reflect also the characte-
ristics of Art Brut, aboriginal art, mythological
iconography, the humanist interest in ana-
