Il sogno più comune dei bambini, si sa, è poter guidare l’auto del papà.
Gli interessi e le passioni nascono sin da piccoli, si trasformano e crescono a
mano a mano che si acquisisce maggiore consapevolezza di sé e dei propri
interessi. Il viaggio in auto è sempre un’emozione, stimola un sentimento
profondo orientato alla scoperta e incentiva la naturale propensione alla
fantasia. Molti grandi sportivi affermano di avere scoperto la loro passione
per le automobili e per la corsa già nei primi anni di vita. Alcuni, in particolare,
affermano di avere cominciato a frequentare le piste dopo avere ricevuto
in regalo qualcosa che li ha stimolati a praticare tutte le attività legate
alle gare automobilistiche. Può essere stata la pista da corsa elettrica o
l’automobilina radiocomandata che ha scatenato il desiderio di diventare
pilota e di correre, un giorno, su un’auto vera in un circuito internazionale,
partendo in pole position. Serve costanza, impegno, passione, come per
tutte le attività sportive, e anche un pizzico di creatività per arrivare ad
affermare, come Graham Hill pilota automobilistico britannico, “la pista è
la mia tela. La mia auto è il mio pennello.”
One of children’s most common dreams is to be able to drive their
daddy’s car. Interests and passions are born at an early age, transform and
then grow as kids become more aware of themselves and their interests.
Car travel is always an emotion, stimulating a deep feeling of discovery
and a natural propensity for fantasy. Many great sportsmen and women
claim to have discovered their passion for cars and racing early in life.
Some, in particular, claim to have started going to the racetrack after
receiving something as a gift that stimulated them to engage in all
activities related to motor racing. It may have been an electric model race
track or the radio-controlled car that triggered the desire to become a
driver and to one day race a real car on an international circuit, starting
in pole position. It takes perseverance, commitment, passion, just like
for all sporting activities, together with a pinch of creativity to be able to
say, like Graham Hill, British racing driver, “the track is my canvas. My car
is my paintbrush.”
