Hotel Vedette Belgium
Interior design by architect Tijen Taskin, 2020
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Hotel Vedette is "the" project where
the owners' favorites have spread like a
powder of Perlimpimpin to reveal a haven
of peace and privacy. The result offers a
cozy, chic and elegant atmosphere, where
each object, material and colour counts
and shares its character as much as its
harmony within the whole. The eras are
distinguished and merge, nature invites
itself and contemplates itself, rest sets in
and lets itself live in this place that makes
sense.
Developed from the desires of the owners,
the hotel plays the card of landscape
integration by offering an immersion
in the colours and materials of Moshe
dear to Profondeville. Thus, the position
taken to work the common spaces in
the rather dark and hazy tones of the
wild Meuse and to contrast with the
lighter and brighter rooms, open to the
surrounding landscape. Real precision
work has also been carried out so that the
careful lighting, the furniture selected
or designed to measure, the window
coverings, the choice of finishes and
tapestries participate, in their own way, in
the overall concept.
