Extraordinary colours are the hallmark of
the rugs by Studio RENS. Unique patterns
came to life through printing of colours
with subtle differences in saturation
and intensity. The designs are part of
Studio RENS’ research into the endless
possibilities of colouring, mixing, and
matching inspired by Riso techniques.
ABOUT THE DESIGNERS
Studio RENS (Renee Mennen and Stefanie
van Keijsteren) is a research-based studio
with a playful vision and a distinct
approach to design. By exploring and
shifting the boundaries of both colour
and material, the duo develops different
interior objects, rugs, and tapestries.
Design through the eyes of Studio RENS is
a joyous quest with endless combinations,
