Kristal is the fruit of research into three-dimensional transparency, reinterpreting a classic piece of furniture, the glass cabinet, with contemporary technology, illustrating the concept that “apparent simplicity is great complexity”. It features a rigid, rugged framework, built by joining 20 aluminium sections, based on the idea of lightness, along with the graphic feature of the uprights which allow for extreme compositional freedom. Kristal is based on two key concepts:
sliding – it revolutionizes the opening system, shifting the slide to the bottom, and making the cabinet ultra light and ethereal;
lightness – the rythmn marked by the vertical uprights gives compositional freedom to the shelves, redesigning the storage space, the lighting and the distribution of spaces.
