These fabrics are the product of special looms with multiple insertions. From
the initial stages of the thread manufacture, it is necessary to use special,
very slow, machines, so as to leave the fibre unaltered in all its length and
resistance. The “felt” e"ect and the irregularities of the fibre which stands out
exalt the special features of the natural fibres used (cotton – viscose). These
irregularities are a feature typical of the working of this wool.

Questi tessuti sono prodotti su speciali telai a inserzioni multiple. Fin dalla
fabbricazione del filo, è necessario avvalersi di particolari macchine molto
lente, in modo da lasciare inalterata la fibra in tutta la sua lunghezza e
resistenza. L’e"etto “felpato” e l’irregolarità della fibra in rilievo esaltano le
caratteristiche peculiari delle fibre naturali utilizzate (cotone – viscosa). Tali
irregolarità devono essere interpretate come pregio tipico di una lavorazione
artigianale.
