The Ledtube is turning ten, and it’s still one
of the collection’s most functional products:
a reading lamp with a light beam that is
specifically designed not to bother anyone
else in the bed. It has no glare and its light
can be aimed in any direction. It’s so easy
to use that it’s almost instinctive, and so
versatile it can blend in with the surface.
Light that takes up no space. And yet, there
is always room for improvement, and this
year we’re offering a new version of the
Ledtube with a USB port built in, as well as
a smaller size, the Ledtube mini.
This ingenious lamp has been used to
light up rooms in the most prestigious hotels,
accompanying guests at the best time of
day, when it’s time to relax and read before
going to sleep. It’s that time when, almost
automatically, we also decide to charge
our mobile devices, which is why this latest
edition of the Ledtube features a USB port,
giving it yet another use. The manual and
digital worlds combine under one light.
The Ledtube mini offers a new size
to fill the gap: the same design but smaller
and more compact while maintaining the
proportions of the original. A change in scale
to update it and offer the same performance
in a smaller size. Available in two formats:
the same as the Ledtube, and a new, circular
design that minimises its structure for easier
wall mounting.

El Ledtube cumple diez años y sigue siendo
uno de los productos más funcionales de
la colección: un lector con un potente foco
de luz que tiene el firme propósito de no
molestar si hay otro compañero en la cama.
No deslumbra y su luz puede dirigirse en
cualquier dirección. Es tan fácil de usar
que es casi instintivo y tan versátil que
se mimetiza con la superficie, luz que no
ocupa lugar. Pero a pesar de todo, siempre
hay espacio para mejorar y este año, por
una parte se ofrece una nueva versión del
Ledtube que lleva integrada una entrada
de USB, y por otra aparece con un nuevo
tamaño más pequeño, el Ledtube mini.
Esta lámpara ingeniosa ha conseguido
iluminar las habitaciones de los hoteles más
prestigiosos, acompañando en el mejor
momento del día, cuando uno ya decide
relajarse y leer antes de dormirse. Es en este
momento cuando, casi de manera automática,
uno también decide poner sus dispositivos
móviles a cargar, por eso la última edición
del Ledtube incorpora una entrada USB,
ampliando sus usos. Lo manual y lo digital
unidos bajo la misma luz.
El Ledtube mini responde a un nuevo
tamaño que se echaba de menos: el mismo
diseño pero más pequeño y compacto que
respeta las proporciones del original. Un
cambio de escala para actualizarlo y ofrecer
las mismas prestaciones en una medida
más reducida. Disponible en dos formatos:
el mismo que ya tiene el Ledtube y un nuevo
diseño de forma circular que permite reducir
su estructura a la mínima expresión para
acoplarse a la pared.
