Félix Candelas is the architect behind the biggest and most mesmerizing aquarium in the world, found in Valencia. L’Oceonogràfic’s shell-like structure is a prototypical display of the author’s fondness for poetry on concrete, testing the limits of construction and architecture. The Lirio nightstand adopts Candela’s geometric prowess by replicating the shape of a lily at its base. Lirio is a contrasting mix of a white lacquered base and storage space lined with black lacquered glass. Inside, the 6 drawers are made with the noble satinwood and lined with soothing velvet.
