Designed by German Burkhard Dämmer, Pod is next in kin to hanging version Poppy, both of which represent the most natural version of this artist’s achievements. Pod is more compact, elongated and its slats are less separated than in Poppy. Based on the arranged repetition of shapes a curvy plasticity is achieved whose sustained rhythm is strengthen by the light coming through the wood slats and projecting onto the desired surroundings. Pod is available in two sizes (47 x 50 cm and 53 x 60 cm). Its compact, oval shape reminds of a fruit or a seed.
