Crafted precision
Born of a combination of craft and technological processes, Limbus
is a hanging glass sphere – a tiny cosmos almost – enclosing the lenses
and electronics used to manage light and dissipate heat.
The light generated by Limbus perfectly illuminates horizontal surfaces
(table, bedside table, desk), without the slightest glare.
Optical diagram
The Limbus project grew out of an in-depth optical study of
the diffuser body: the LED light is projected downward through
the glass lens to guarantee impeccable direct illumination.
The small conical aluminium reflector directs a certain amount
of light upward: the sphere thus comes alive.
