Lightness of form, technological innovation
and sustainability are key factors in the new wall version
of Illan created by Zsuzsanna Horvath for Luceplan.
The body of the lamp, in die-cast aluminium, can be
installed on the wall, aiming the warm, soft light of the
LED upwards or downwards. Attached to the metal, the
layered wooden structure, laser-cut to obtain extremely
thin, flexible parts (Ø 31 cm), encloses the body and
formulates the characteristic geometric design of Illan.
The shade is obtained with surplus material from the
making of the suspension version, making the entire
manufacturing process more eco-sustainable.
Thanks to the lamp’s characteristic luminous silhouette
and expert use of the LED source, the Illan wall model
creates comfortable, relaxing settings of great
emotional impact.

Leggerezza nelle forme, innovazione
tecnologica e sostenibilità caratterizzano la nuova
versione a parete di Illan disegnata da Zsuzsanna
Horvath per Luceplan. Il corpo lampada, in pressofusione
d’alluminio, può essere installato a muro direzionando
la luce calda e morbida della sorgente Led verso l’alto
o verso il basso. Agganciata alla fusione, la struttura in
legno multistrato, tagliato a laser estremamente sottile
e flessibile (Ø 31 cm), veste il corpo lampada e definisce
la caratteristica geometria di Illan. Il paralume è
ottenuto dallo sfrido della versione a sospensione,
restituendo così all’intero processo di lavorazione
maggiore sostenibilità sia in termini produttivi che
ambientali. Grazie alla sua caratteristica silhouette
leggera e alll’uso sapiente della sorgente Led, Illan
parete crea ambienti confortevoli e rilassanti dal forte
impatto emozionale.
