We use and navigate the city in many different ways: we
drive, walk, bike and skate. The new mixed industrial-
recreational areas such as harbour front lead to new ways
of designing and combining different lighting.
Both the purposes and functions of an urban space need
to be considered when planning the lighting in an area.
