“My bed is a ship”, are the opening words of a famous poem by R. L. Stevenson. The surface of Softwall is a large clear surface, that suggests the flat calm of the sea and the two-dimensional form of a raft. A soft perimeter completely surrounds the sleeping space, turning it into an island, setting and protecting its boundaries. Headboard and bed surround in double-panelled poplar and pine. Polyurethane padding covered with a layer of goose down. Fully removable fabric or leather covers.
