Rubber is made up of different materials: the structure is made in Technopolymer, whereas the diffuser is in
polyurethane resin. Like all plastic materials, these are also subject to chromatic and physical variations over time.
For this reason, Linea Light Group has selected specific materials that prevent these side effects. The purpose of
the UV rays test is to predict ageing in the products.
A series of tests are conducted which are
fundamental for examining and analysing the way
the product behaves in extreme environments,
such as the salt spray test, with isopropyl alcohol.
The purpose of these tests is to understand the
behaviour of the materials in high salinity level
areas and in contact with aggressive solvents. The
success of these tests makes it possible to be able
to guarantee a product that can be installed in every
outside environment.
