This is a fundamental safety test, the purpose of which is to simulate the effect of thermal stress
that can be produced by electrical overheating in order to assess the risk of fire. The test anticipates
the contact of an incandescent wire with the insulated parts of the product in order to assess
how the material behaves under thermal stress in normal operating conditions. The minimum
temperature required by current regulations is 650°C. Our products have been tested and verified at
960°C to provide the maximum guarantee in terms of safety, which demonstrates the quality of the
material Linea Light Group selects for use.
