In order to build the mold, the
drawing conceived during the creative
phase is digitized. Subsequently,
the 3D drawing is sent to particular
cutters that shape the steel block of
which the model is made.
It is a rather long process, especially
in the case of vintage handles where
details are numerous and the cutters
must work with very low tolerances
(almost nil) to make all the friezes that
distinguish them.
Per costruire lo stampo si digitalizza
il disegno concepito durante la fase
creativa. Successivamente il disegno
3D viene inviato a particolari frese
che modellano il blocco di acciaio del
quale si compone lo stampo.
Si tratta di un processo piuttosto
lungo, soprattutto in caso di maniglie
vintage dove i particolari sono
numerosi e le frese devono lavorare
con bassissime tolleranze (quasi nulle)
per realizzare tutti i fregi che le
contraddistinguono.
