The Ligne Roset headquarters
is based in Briord, a small town
in Ain, in the Auvergne-Rhône-
Alpes region of France, on the
right bank of the Rhône river.
Its people are called “Briolands”
and “Briolandes”. The five Ligne
Roset factories, where some eight
hundred artisans work every day,
are also situated in this area: a scenic, forested landscape. This is the
setting in which over ninety-five percent of Ligne Roset’s designs are
produced.
The company’s first offices outside of Briord were
opened in Germany in 1973. From the eighties through
to the aughts, Ligne Roset opened its doors in many
other countries in Europe, but also throughout Asia
and the Americas. In all, the company now operates
in over seventy countries, in a variety of cultures and
environments. No matter the regional differences, the
commonality remains a passion for design and a pull
towards Ligne Roset’s designs; innovative furniture and
accessories in excellent finishes, and a highly creative,
prestigious and enduring aesthetic.
And yet, growth today is not geographical. We now speak
the language of influencers, the contract furniture market,
and QuickShip. We have adopted a vocabulary in line
with the expectations of today’s clientele: of large hotel
groups, Michelin-rated restaurants, cruise ships and luxury
retailers. We also speak the language of software and
e-commerce; providing access to Ligne Roset’s best-
selling designs with the click of a mouse.
