Design Scandinavian - Italian. Style Minimal - Decorative.
The designer Brian Rasmussen, MAA at the Royal Academy of
Architecture in Copenhagen, moved to Venice immediately after his
studies where he encountered the values, history and materials of
the Italian artisan tradition.
The BALL collection is the result of these two very different cultures
merging and thus creating a new point of view.
The minimal shape of the lamp is in sharp contrast with the strongly
decorated “balloton“ technique used to create the glass element.

Il designer Brian Rasmussen, laureato in architettura presso la
Accademia Reale Danese di Belle Arti, vive e lavora a Venezia
dove ha conosciuto la storia, i valori e i materiali della tradizione
artigianale italiana.
La collezione BALL è il risultato di queste due culture diverse tra loro
che si fondono creando un nuovo punto di vista in cui la semplicità
della forma si pone in contrasto con l’aspetto altamente decorativo
del vetro balloton.

luminosa GU10 collocata all’interno
dell’elemento in alluminio posizionato
sopra al diffusore in vetro.

glass diffuser.

Il vetro è illuminato dalla lampadina
E14 posizionata al centro del diffusore
in vetro. La cupola metallica direziona
la luce verso il basso.
Direct Light
The glass is illuminated form the E14
light bulb placed in the centre of the
glass diffuser. The metal dome guides
the light downwards.
