WOOD
To maintain the natural wood
features and protect them from
mechanical and chemical wear, the
veneered surfaces are coated with a
high-quality transparent varnish.
Do not use acid or alkaline
detergents, agents with bleaching
additives, abrasive powders, steel
wool, sponges or the like. Anything
hot or humid can cause surface
damage. Remove dirt and liquids
immediately.
For the cleaning and care, it is best
to use a soft, dry cloth. If necessary,
the cloth can be slightly dampened
and dipped in neutral detergent
thoroughly diluted in water. The
cloth should only be slightly damp
to avoid discoloration or swelling
of the surface. Finally, it is essential
to gently rub dry surfaces, so that
there is no residual moisture.
LEATHER
The finish of the finest leathers
can be seriously damaged through
the use of improper or unsuitable
products; damage occurs over time,
after several cleaning operations.
Do not use acids or alkali-based
cleaners. Never use stain removers,
shoe cream, solvents, floor wax,
cosmetics or other harsh cleaners.
Do not use abrasive agents, steel
wool, pot cleaners or similar. It is
recommended to protect the
product from abrasion, humidity
and other factors so that the
surface is not irreparably damaged.
It is advisable not to expose the
product to strong heat sources, as
this can alter its appearance.
For cleaning and care, regularly
wipe the leather surface with a
soft cloth. Use the blunt nozzle of
a vacuum cleaner to remove any
crumbs and sand.
Attention: Nubuck grain leathers
as well as leathers finished with
aniline cannot be absolutely
cleaned, except with a simple soft
and completely dry cloth. Any
product could irreparably damage
the skin.
METAL & LIQUID
METAL
To maintain the natural features
of the metal and to protect the
specific craftsmanship from
oxidation and discoloration, the
metal surfaces are coated with a
high-quality transparent varnish.
Do not use acid cleaners, solvents
or alkalis. Do not use abrasive
agents, steel wool, pot cleaners,
glass cleaners, aggressive solvents,
dyes, bleach or the like.
Pointed or sharp objects, such as
blades or knives, can cause damage
to the surface. Anything hot or
humid can cause surface damage.
For cleaning and care, remove light
dirt with a soft cloth and a neutral
household cleaning product well
diluted in water. Gently clean the
metal parts by hand with cold or
warm water and dry immediately
with a soft cloth.
MARBLE
Natural stones are easily damaged
by acids, fats and oils. These liquids
tend to penetrate natural stone and
leave dark, light or opaque stains
that can no longer be removed.
Do not use acid cleaners, solvents
or alkalis. Do not use abrasive
agents, steel wool, pot cleaners,
glass cleaners, aggressive solvents,
dyes, bleach or the like.
Anything hot or humid can cause
surface damage.
For the cleaning and care, protect
the product from abrasion,
moisture and other external
influences to prevent long-term
destruction of the surface. Dust
the natural stone regularly with a
soft, lint-free cloth. Remove dirt
and liquids immediately using
only neutral detergents.
Care & Maintenance_
CERAMIC
Ceramics do not require special
protective treatments. Correct and
systematic cleaning is sufficient to
keep the surface unaltered.
Do not use cleaning products
containing hydrofluoric acid (HF)
and its derivatives. Do not use
abrasive agents, steel wool, pot
cleaners, glass cleaners, aggressive
solvents, dyes, bleach or the like.
For cleaning and care, proceed
with a simple washing with hot
water, a soft cloth or sponge and
possibly with the use of neutral and
well-diluted detergents. The final
gentle rinsing with a clean cloth is
recommended to avoid streaks and
residues.
PAINTS, LACQUERINGS
AND SPECIAL FINISHES
Do not use acid or alkaline
detergents, agents with bleaching
additives, abrasive powders, steel
wool, sponges or the like. Do not
use furniture polish or solvents
to care for painted surfaces.
Anything hot or humid can cause
surface damage. Pointed or sharp
objects, such as blades or knives,
can cause damage to the surface.
For the cleaning and care, regularly
wipe the surfaces with a clean,
soft, lint-free cloth to remove dust
while avoiding abrasion. For soft-
finish painted surfaces, use a soft,
lint-free, slightly damp cloth. If
heavily soiled, painted surfaces can
be cleaned with a neutral, silicone-
free detergent. Finally, it is essential
to gently rub dry surfaces, so that
there is no residual moisture.
VELVETS
“Our velvet fabrics must be dry
cleaned. Deep cleaning and spot
cleaning should only be performed
by a tapestry cleaning expert.
Depending on the wear and
on the colour of the velvet, we
recommend a professional deep
cleaning every four to five years.
In our experience, it is not always
possible to remove the signs of
wear on the seat by treating the
fabric.
Do not use acids or alkali-
based cleaners. Do not use stain
removers, shoe cream, solvents,
floor wax, cosmetics or other
harsh cleaners. Do not use abrasive
agents, steel wool, pot cleaners
or similar. It is recommended to
protect the product from abrasion,
humidity and other factors so
that the surface is not irreparably
damaged.
For cleaning and care, it is
recommended to brush the
surfaces regularly using a soft
brush (such as a clothes brush)
following the natural grain of the
fabric. Loose dust and dirt can
be removed regularly from velvet
by vacuuming with a special
nozzle for tapestry or soft-bristled
upholstery. The nozzle must
not have protrusions or sharp
edges, as they could damage
the velvet. If necessary, you can
clean the product with a damp
suede, applying light pressure and
following the natural grain of the
fabric.”
