Except for kreon nuit, all kreon speakers can be used to build an
elegant home-cinema: don’t be fooled by their tiny size, they are able
to reproduce very clear dialogs as well as loud explosions.
Carefully position your speakers according to the home-cinema
standards :

2 left and right speakers, like a stereo system

1 center speaker, that reproduces the dialogs
-
2 (5.1) or 4 (7.1) speakers, that make the surround effects
B. Add a subwoofer when needed
Home cinema effects require a lot of energy in the lows, so a
subwoofer is absolutely needed.
You have 2 possibilities:

Invisible sub, integrated in furniture : use 1 (<40m²) or 2 (>40m²)
kreon subwoofer(s) and power them though a kreamp amplifier.

Free-standing subwoofer: Buy a home cinema active subwoofer
of your choice and connect it directly to the home cinema
receiver.
C. Associate the amplifier
Home cinema needs a special amplifier called ‘home cinema
receiver’, able to decode the cinema sound effects (HD Master,
Dolby Digital, DTS…). They can be found by any retailer. Any brand
is compatible, since their configuration menus all offer the possibility
to set the speakers as ‘small’. Their tiny size is then taken into
account by the amplifier, which automatically routes the lows to the
subwoofer. Very few amplifiers have a sixth amplified output, that
allows to directly wire a kreon passive subwoofer. This allows to build
an economical small system by getting rid of the kreamp – please
ask for compatible models.
