Circadian rhythm
The human circadian rhythm regulates a 24-hour cycle of
sleep, wake, hunger, alertness, hormone release, and
body temperature.
When synchronized, it keeps each person healthy. When
desynchronized, it impacts health and well-being, leading to
higher rates of obesity, diabetes, heart attacks, and cancer.
