NIR through
the windows
Humans spend the majority of their time indoors and lack of NIR
exposure. Artificial lighting, displays and NIR-blocking window
treatments prevent NIR from entering our offices, schools, and
homes.
NIR exposure is incredibly beneficial for health and well-being.
Among other things, it also impacts melatonin production at
the subcellular level in mitochondria. Spending enough time
in daylight is critical for human health. The best time for
NIR exposure is morning and evening.
