Visible light
The spectrum of daylight is broad but changes over the
course of the day. In the morning and in the middle of
the day, it contains more blue light compared to the
late afternoon, when the proportion of red light increases.
The human eye interprets the received spectrum as different
white light.
Sunlight can support the circadian system, enhancing
alertness and productivity throughout the day and encouraging
quality sleep into the evening and night.
