ILTI LEDS
is a range of products resulting from the
research that ILTI LUCE has started since 1998.
LEDs are currently undergoing a significate
development and represent another way of
lighting, Providing the opportunity to ever
increase our product portfolio. Hugh Brightness
and Power LEDs are the result of the evolution
of lighting diodes, which we have seen as
indicators in domestic appliances or flashing
lights in mobile phones.
The research, initiated in the electronic and
micro-chips industry, has allowed to improve
the lighting level and the light quality, keeping
unchanged it’s long lifespan and low power
consumption.
ILTI LUCE chose to adopt new light sources
and to manufacture new luminaires for
designers who want to use new material,
such as aluminum, stainless steel, sanded
chromed brass, Ertacetal® and polycarbonate.
Furthermore the small size of the LED light
source opened a new field of possibilities to
take form factor and design to the next level.
We want to introduce this new catalogue to you
as a new visual way of light and lighting design.
ILTI LEDS is one of the most complete ranges
available in the market, which includes a wide
choice of different technologies of illuminating
and engineering solutions for designers.
The systems are modular and can be made
suitable for any requirements.
We can supply a wide variety of LED colours
ranging from warm to cool white, coloured or
dimmable .

I.R.L. (Ilti Research Lab)
ILTI LUCE’s in house laboratory is equipped
with a facility for the development, technical
validation and production of prototypes for
onsite tests. This enables use to validate
if
customers
specifications
and
design
requirements are met.
material and construction
ILTI LUCE uses high quality materials such
as polycarbonate, aluminum, stainless steel,
sanded chromed brass and Ertacetal®.
All spots are machined from a solid rod of
aluminum, brass or stainless steel in order
to assure the best mechanical performance
and to ensure a very high level of detail. All
recessed spots are equipped with an aluminum
heat dissipator, to obtain best in class thermal
performance resulting in an excellent light
output.. The fixing brackets have been
designed to fix the spot in any condition and
manufactured out of laser cut steel. All recessed
spots for mounting in the floor are equipped
with a thermal dissipator. The internal optics
developed by I.R.L. assure the high emission
with or without optional lenses. We offer a wide
variety of different beam angles to support our
customers in various lighting needs.
reflectors and optics
Reflectors are not all the same. Testing the
same LED and the same lens, the light efficiency
changes if the reflector is not maximized in
performance to the LED used.
The result of our research is a wide range of
reflectors with a high efficiency that can be used
in combination with several lenses. This type of
optic is called I.R.L.
thermal dissipation
Series Lux has been designed with adequate
dissipation surfaces, particularly the recessed
series is equipped with a optimized aluminum
dissipater to ensure thermal performance within
the physical limits of the LED resulting in a stable
light output over time and maximizing life time.
This building block is very important as without
a suitable thermal dissipation, the life-time and
colour stability of the LED can be reduced.
LED and fibre optics
The knowledge acquired over the last twenty
years with fibre optic technology cannot be
left aside with the introduction of the LED. Ilti
Luce has now combined the two technologies.
We have realized and patented a new range
of fibre optic light-boxes with extremely small
dimensions that enable the use of fibre optics
with standard fibre harnesses.

Accessories are useful for the successful
completion of a project. Decorative rims, fixing
elements, pegs, profiles, joints are all elements
that are necessary to complete the lighting
system with ILTI LEDS.
