Multi-sensor
Light becomes smart
Light is smart when it is managed by an intelligent system.
This means it is able to control on-off functions or the
amount of luminous fl ux as required and automatically.
Smart systems must be served by receptors that collect
information from the environment and transmit it to
a control system which in turn sends a message to
the terminal nodes, i.e. the lighting devices activated
in accordance with pre-defi ned standards. The new
Bluetooth multi-sensor detects both light and movement.
In turn, this means that the lighting system will only be
activated to ensure a certain level of illumination based
on the lighting conditions existing in the setting and in
relation to movements by people inside. The Bluetooth
multi-sensor communicates with all DALI devices over a
BLE-DALI interface and directly with a smart device. There
are two clear advantages: a pre-defi ned lighting scenario
is always maintained at the same time as ensuring energy
savings.
