THE FUTURE IS LONGING THE PAST
Onwards we live in nostalgia. The future will be longing for
the positive changes that have been made to the way we
think, we live and we design. This longing for the past is a
rebellious act against defeatment. It is the celebration of
resilience and optimism. The future is a throwback to the
60s and 70s, where air is purer, hope is tangible and homes
are funky and bursting with joyfulness.
We gather our affection for personal memories to design a
collective future. A future of bounded resources but limit-
less possibilities. A future of barefoot dancing on the floor
of airy living rooms. A future of creativity spinning around
like a record. A future that conveys retro aesthetics.
That future ain't hippy but happy.
